I build applications end to end, from the database schema to the CI/CD infra. Lately that's been data-heavy side projects: a tennis analytics text to SQL agent, a plant ID trainer for a botany exam, and a physics tool for racket nerds (I'm one of them).

Projects

Deuce

2026, in progress

A tennis analytics warehouse over 1.9M shot-by-shot points from the Match Charting Project. 19 dbt models, run as Dagster assets. The ingest rejects bad rows, and a parser change that drops agreement with an independent implementation fails the build.

Python · PostgreSQL · dbt · Dagster

A sight-ID trainer for the CNPS Field Botanist exam: all 500 plants on the Board's list, from iNaturalist photos, scored the way the Board scores. I built it for one exam candidate. They used it for the 5 days before the exam and passed.

ServiceBox

2025, in progress

A racket customization PWA built on Rod Cross's swing-weight equations. The physics runs in a separate FastAPI + NumPy service so Node stays free for I/O. API responses come back in under 10ms.

TypeScript · tRPC · FastAPI · PostgreSQL · React 19

UTRTools

2025

Scouting for my tennis league team: match history and UTR lookups for about 200 players across 10 teams. It matches players across USTA and UTR by shared match results, and it never saves a failed lookup as "not found".
